Sunshine rays

I'm lying here in a couch on the balcony in the sun. It is pretty darn awesome! I had an short school day too. Commenced at 9.50 with my first lesson "U-landskunskap" and finished at 14.00. I wouldn't mind having short days everyday.

NNP Safari

Early morning. Really early morning. But I guess it was worth it. We went to the Nairobi National Park today on a little safari. It was actually more fun than I thought it was going to be.

A ponderous mind

Last night I dreamt that I was back home...or not really home but something like that at least...

I overslept this morning too...can't say that it was one of my brightest moves exactly. It is also terribly freezing here today...and i mean freezing. Though it says about 23 degrees, it really does not feel like it.

Today is also a special day in Kenya. The passing of a new legislation. Which means that all Kenyans are off today.

The rest of the day, besides oversleeping, but still making it on time to my lessons, was Spent at Impala, around a bonfire and dancing in a mates room.

Sale sale sale

All the smells, the sounds, the people. It's all so wonderful. They all give me such deja vu feelings....and I love it! After about two lessons or so I spent the day together with some others wandering the streets of Nairobi to Yaya center, a shopping mall in the outskirts of nairobi center. It's pretty nice there, though Toi market was more mesmerizing I must confess. A pair of genuine converse for 120kr..

Purity

Getting into business with the bad guys you have to be in total control. Unfortunately, bad guys can be unpredictable. They'll tell you to drink up baby, to stay up all night.

"Drink up with me now and forget all about the pressures of days. Do what I say and I'll make you okay. I'll drive the images stuck in your head away."

I tell myself, the things I could do. The things I should do.

Though, just like the wind easily turns, a heart is now cold that used to burn. And some people give you great advice. Those who listen have to pay the price. But that's no reason to go blind forever. That's no reason to go deaf forever.

Just like the sun glows and burns, someone can give you life but then they turn. But that’s no reason to go blind forever.

Real life is not for those who hide, although the trail of love is a very bumpy ride. But that’s no reason to, go deaf forever
